The National Beat Poetry Foundation, Inc., is a not-for-profit organization, which includes its festivals, “Nat’l & Int’l Goddess Festival - held each March celebrating women’s history month, including a Nat’l & Int’l Goddess Anthology.
“Nat’l & Int‘l Beat Poetry Festival” - a yearly festival which takes place on Labor Day weekend in Collinsville and Pleasant Valley, CT, including a “New Generation Beats Anthology”, “International Beat Poetry Festivals” - various international festivals held by some of our beat laureates and affiliates, and “Kerouac Cafe” - local informal gatherings. We also have an online magazine, “BeatLife”.
While we continue to preserve the writings and memories of the original “Beat Generation”, we strive to keep evolving to create a new ” Beat Generation” of Poets, Writers, Artists, and Musicians. The NBPF supports the above primary mission by hosting, collaborating, and fostering joint partnerships for Beat-themed poetry readings, workshops, plays, radio shows and much more locally, across the United States and Worldwide.
