Richard Wayne Horton wrote poetry in Austin in the 70s then developed a story style from 1980 to 2019. He has received 2 Pushcart nominations and published 2 books of short stories and flash fiction, Sticks & Bones (Meat For Tea Press) and Artists In The Underworld (Human Error Publishing). His stories have appeared in Meat For Tea, The Blue Nib, Quail Bell, Scryptic, Bull & Cross, The Bitchin’ Kitsch, Danse Macabre du Jour, Lonesome October and others. His style is both crisp and loaded, the images fresh and the characters strong.
