Mark your calendars for the National Beat Poetry Foundation, Inc.’s Annual 3 day Festival & Awards Ceremony, Celebrating Beat Poets from around the globe. It will be held live in person in the Pleasant Valley/New Hartford, CT area. Zoom program details for those that cannot attend live will be posted soon.
The festivities begin live and in person on Friday night September 2, 2022, starting at 7pm EST with Poetry, music, and friendship. Snacks will be provided.
Continuing on Saturday September 3, 2022, starting at 1pm EST in Pleasant Valley, CT with this years Beat Laureate Awards Ceremony, followed by readings, music, a celebratory dinner, and making and renewing friendships. Special remembrance ceremony honoring Jack Kerouac’s 100th Birthday Year.
On Sunday Sept 4, 2022, we have an informal gathering of poets with readings from 1pm-3pm EST.
Several books will be available for purchase throughout the event.
